Shoalhaven Women's Wellness Festival (March)
SNS has been involved in the Festival since its inception. The Festival is one of the many International Women's Day events held each March in the Shoalhaven. The Festival provides a safe place for women, their families and friends to take control of their health and happiness, respects our similarities and honors our cultural differences, enjoy a variety of entertainment, performances, workshops, information sharing and lots of giveaways including prizes to win, and connect with local community organisations who appreciate what it means to be a woman in the 21st century. For more information check out the SWWF Facebook Page.
The Festival launched the Women's Wellness Fund in 2016.
The Shoalhaven Women's Wellness Support Fund will be used to provide additional funds to local cancer and mental health support services who work with women. This additional money will provide more women with access to practical support for such things as accommodation costs, counselling and group support, emergency financial support and transport costs.
