Nowra Maker's Markets
the friendly market in the middle of town
Held on the Fourth Saturday of every month from 9am to 2pm at Jelly Bean Park Nowra.
Raising funds for the Shoalhaven Anti-Poverty Committee.
Nowra Maker's Market's volunteers raise funds through Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Services for the Shoalhaven Anti-Poverty Committee. All the stallholder's fees are used to assist local people who are living in hardship and poverty.
In 2017 funds helped young people who were struggling at school receive free tutoring through the ENTR project, got the community singing, yarning, rhyming and playing with their babies and Pre-Schoolers to help prepare them for school through Paint Shoalhaven REaD Black and Yellow, assisted adults with literacy issues through Milton Ulladulla Community Resource Centre and supported the family fun day Prosperity in the Park in Nowra East.
- The Committee's vision is to create community pride and respect and empower local people, by bringing them together to take part in our events.
- Our markets are different because they provide a market in the CBD of Nowra for local people to sell their homemade, homegrown, handmade products or for local businesses to promote their products in a market atmosphere.

- Join us at the markets on the fourth Saturday of every month at Jelly Bean Park, Egans Lane Nowra (the top end of Woolworth's carpark)
